Book Coaching & Editing

You’ve started. Let’s make sure you finish — and finish well.

Some of the best books I’ve worked on came to me half-written, stuck in a drawer, or scattered across a hundred voice notes and documents. The idea was always there. What was missing was structure, momentum, and a clear editorial hand. Book coaching is for writers who are in motion but need a partner to keep them on track and sharpen what they produce.

What book coaching and editing looks like

We begin with a manuscript review — whatever you have, in whatever state it’s in. From there I produce a structural report: what’s working, what’s missing, what needs rethinking, and a clear path to a finished draft.
Then we work together through regular sessions — fortnightly or monthly, depending on your pace — where I review new chapters, give detailed written feedback, and help you solve structural and narrative problems as they arise.

And if your manuscript is already complete…

…I offer full manuscript editing: line editing for clarity, flow, and voice consistency; structural editing if chapters need reorganising; and a final proofread pass.

Who is this for?

Writers who have started but feel lost or overwhelmed. First-time authors who need guidance on structure and narrative. Executives who are writing themselves but want an expert sounding board. Anyone with a complete draft that needs professional editing before publication.

You Inc. by Dr Bhaskar Das

You Inc. by Dr Bhaskar Das

A guide by the late Dr. Bhaskar Das, drawing on decades of corporate leadership, teaching, and mentorship to help readers see themselves not as employees waiting to be managed, but as dynamic enterprises in their own right. The manuscript was completed in collaboration with his family after his passing.
The book talks about how the world you are navigating has changed more profoundly than any advice you were given at the start of your career could have anticipated. YOU INC. offers a different way of seeing yourself – not as an employee waiting to be managed, but as a dynamic enterprise entirely responsible for its own development. Drawing on decades of corporate leadership, teaching, and mentorship, Dr. Bhaskar Das argues that the most resilient response to an unpredictable world is not a better plan. It is a better mindset.

Testimonial

My father, Dr. Bhaskar Das, began working on this book with Sridhar in mid-2024. They had started developing his ideas together, but my father passed away when only a small portion of the manuscript was complete.
For our family, the question was whether the book could still be finished in a way that truly reflected his thinking — not just his words, but the way he saw the world. Sridhar took everything my father had shared — his notes, conversations, and the direction they had discussed — and wrote the rest of the book from that foundation. Throughout the process, he stayed closely connected with our family, and we reviewed the manuscript to make sure it stayed true to what my father believed and would have wanted to say. You Inc. is the result of that effort — completed after his passing, but built entirely on the ideas, values, and voice he had already begun to share. I’m grateful to Sridhar for the care he took in finishing what my father started, and for giving our family the chance to see his ideas reach readers.

Testimonial

Meeting and working with R. Sridhar, a well-experienced editor with a sound and deep knowledge of journalism, has been one of the most transformative experiences of my writing journey. When I discussed with him the idea of penning down my love for coffee and cafés in a book — now called Coffee, Cafés and Conversations: The Caffeine Movement — I had the passion but needed guidance. Sridhar didn’t just edit my words — he helped me shape my ideas into a real, meaningful story. From the very first session, he listened deeply, asked the right questions, and helped me find the soul of what I was trying to say. He guided me through every step of the process with patience, wisdom, and genuine care. There were moments I felt lost, and he always found a way to bring me back to my purpose. I will always appreciate his patience and calmness throughout the process. If you have a book inside you and need someone who will truly walk alongside you — not just as a coach, but as a believer in your story — R. Sridhar is that person. I am so grateful for his support, and I would not have Coffee, Cafés and Conversations without him.
